Women in Christian Media and the Positive Woman Connection are thrilled to announce our first Summer Saturday Writer’s Seminar for those who are interested in the world of publishing and self-publishing.  Learn how to write a winning proposal and approach a publisher.  Hear from a distinguished panel of authors and find out the latest trends in the field of publishing.  If you have a book in you waiting to be born join us for this encouraging and informative seminar. Karol Ladd will be the Host teacher and Donna Skell will emcee the event.

Karol Ladd, will  speak about  “The Heart of a Writer”. Karol is the best selling author of over 18 books, many of which have been translated into other languages. She is best known for her Positive Power series, and has spoken to audiences all over the world with a message of hope. Karol lives in Dallas with her husband, Curt and daughters, Grace and Joy. Her sincere desire is to share the message of God’s redeeming love through her actions and words. Karol is on the Advisory Board of WCM.

Donna Skell, Assistant to the President of American Tract Society will emcee the event. Donna is on the Adviosry Board of WCM.

Marcia Ramsland, will speak on“Getting Your Message from Your Mind to Paper” & “How to Promote Your Book” . Marcia is well-known as The Organizing Pro for her practical skills and tips to manage busy lives, has been a professional organizer since 1985. She is a highly sought-after speaker and personal consultant, appears on TV and radio, and has tips in national magazines.  The author of Simplify Your Life and Simplify Your Time, Marcia just recently reorganized the spaces in her home by relocating from San Diego to Dallas.

Jan Winebrenner, will teach you  "How to Write a Winning Proposal" Jan is the author of eight books including Intimate Faith: A Woman’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines (Warner Faith, 2003) and The Grace of Catastrophe (Moody, 2005). She speaks nationally for spiritual formation retreats, women’s retreats and conferences, university events, as well as local community groups. A freelance writer for 27 years, she lives in Dallas, TX.
