unite for “Women in Christian Media Conference”

Dallas, Texas – Feb. 18, 2008 – Internationally known Christian media personalities Kay Arthur, Janet Parshall, Joni Eareckson Tada, and June Hunt will present along with other speakers at the “Women in Christian Media Conference: Prayer the Heartbeat of Revival,” to be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 6-7, 2008.

“There is no event quite like this one in the world – where such admired and influential women will gather in one place to be a part of this unprecedented event,” said Suellen Roberts, Women in Christian Media founder and president.

Educational workshops and roundtable sessions will include several areas of focus, including “Leaving a Mark: Dream Big, Accomplish Much & Leaving a Legacy;” “Lonely at the Top: Leading in Times of Change;” and “Ministry Burnout: You’re Not Alone.” The event is open to all women, especially those professionals working in Christian media, as well as anyone interested in learning more about this growing industry group.

“We are expecting amazing things as women gather for this monumental event,” Roberts said. “When we gather and share techniques, lessons, and trials, we become more effective communicators in the united message we share.”

The event is co-located with the National Religious Broadcasters 2008 Convention and Exposition. Registration will begin at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, and the conference will conclude at 9:30 p.m. the following day. Early bird registration at a discounted price is available until February 29.
